10 Proven Ways to Earn Online

The 4 sources are as follows:
  • E-Commerce Store (Dropshipping)
  • Affiliate Marketing
  •  Android application
  • Blog
1. E-commerce Store (Dropshipping):

We all have purchased many things from Amazon and Flipkart. They both are E-commerce stores where they sell product online. But remember friends, Amazon of Flipkart doesn’t have their own products but they sell someone else’s product and charges fees (commission) form the manufacturer. This is also known as “Dropshipping”.

Dropshipping Model

But the question might come in your mind that if I start our own e-commerce store then why would people shop form my store? Well, there are many other e-commerce stores apart from amazon and Flipkart which are running well and generating millions of revenues like Myntra.com, lenskart.com, etc. They all are niche-based store means they sell once product from a particular category.

Search a product which you can buy in bulk and at low cost and sell them at a higher cost or if you have your own product then you can sell them online too.

Now the point is how can I start the E-commerce business?

Well, there are some websites like eBay and Shopify platform where you can start your store. Shopify charges some amount around $29 (Rs. 2100) per month and manages your complete store.

The only thing you need to focus on is the marketing of your store. As your store will be new, the only way to reach to the people is Facebook and Instagram marketing, where you can right audience and impulse buyers.

I advise you to start with eBay store as it is free to start, what you need is to spend some money on marketing. Whereas Shopify is a great platform to start a professional store with much easy management.

It is not possible to tell you everything in the post. I will leave the relative video link here. Do click and watch it for more information.

3. Android Application:

I am sure you have seen millions of applications on Google Play Store. Daily, thousands of new apps getting uploaded in the play store. Some of them have installers in millions.

Have you ever thought of how these app developers earns money from those apps? WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Apps earn millions of dollars just by their apps. But how...?

Android Logo

Basically, there are two types of android apps:
      1.   Subscription App:
      2.   Advertisement app:

Let’s see one by one…
     1.   Subscription apps:

Subscriptions apps are paid apps. Aps which charges some amount on a monthly or yearly basis like Mr Vivek Bindra has his own app named BadaBusiness. This app is paid. The user has to pay a monthly Rs. 100 (Approx.) to use its prime feature. Paid apps have no advertisements on it.

Some apps are free to use but have some in-app purchase like many android games have this in-app porches facility.

Let me give you one example of these paid apps. Suppose you have developed one education app to which you are charging Rs. 199 per month. Now, suppose from India only, 100 users downloaded and installed the app and they are renewing the subscription on a monthly basis then your total revenue becomes 199×100= 19900. Your monthly revenue becomes Rs. 19,900.

Mr Vivek Bindra’s BadaBusiness application has more than 500K users. Suppose, only 10K people are renewing the subscription then imagine how much he is earning by this…!

Bada Business By Dr Vivek Bindra

To earn from android application, you must have a large brand like Mr Vivek Bindra has its own YouTube channel with more than 10M subscribers. So, he does not need any marketing for his app.
On the other hand, if you do not have a brand of the large audience then you must need a good marketing strategy. You must do some paid ads on Facebook and on YouTube.

Now, you know how the app developer earns from subscription apps. Now, let’s move to the second type.

      2.   Advertisement apps:

This is the kind of application where advertainments are being shown while the user is accessing the app. Like, you use some video status app like Helo app where you use video status and you can see the video ads is being shown for 3 to 20 seconds. Form that video ads, the app owner earns the money.

90% of applications form play store are of this kind i.e. advertisement app. Suppose you are using an education app and suddenly a pop-up window comes with ads. From those ads, the owner earns the money.

AdMob- Android Application Monitiser

These ads are shown by Google. Google has a program named “AdMob” where you can register your app and run the ads. But make sure that your app is good and based on a unique idea. You can not create an android app in free. There are some websites which create apps in free but if you do so and upload that app on Playstore then after some days, play store will remove that app due to poor quality. So, I recommend you if you want to create an app then create in Android Studio. Android Studio is a platform where android apps are created. It is not easy to create an app in Android Studio but you can outsource it to any professional app developer or you can learn via YouTube about creating apps in Android Studio.

I am adding the relative video link here. Do click and watch.

4. Blogging:
Now, let’s see what is blogging and how can you generate income from blogging. Blogging means providing valuable information to the audience via the website. You can start a blog about anything like if you are a ‘techy’ guy then you can start a blog about technology like smartphones and other electronic gadgets. It is advisable to you to start a blog about the thing in which you have enough knowledge. There is no need to start blogging in the English language. You can start blogging in any language.

Blogger.com

You can start blogging in free on ‘Blogger.com’. It is a free platform where you can start at any time. It provides some inbuilt descent theme for your website too.

But it has one disadvantage. It will give you a website with sub-domain. What is sub-domain or domain? Let’s we one example. ‘www.amazon.com’ is the website for Amazon where amazon is a domain name.

Now if you start your blog on blogger.com then it will give you a website something like this-  www.youdomainname.blogspot.com. It means if suppose Amazon were started a website on ‘Blogger.com’ then their website would be like www.amazon.blogspot.com. Hope you have got an idea about the domain name. To get a website like ‘www.mydomain name.com’, you have to pay some money on a yearly basis. Once you get enough visitors on your blog then you can shift to your own website with own domain name.

I have my own blog named ‘cshubhu3.blogspot.com’ where I write a blog regarding books review, time management and other personality development related topics. Though, I was not continuing since last few months as I was busy in writing this E-book. You can refer that blog also.

 ·   How to earn money from blogging:

Once you get good traffic then you can apply for Google AdSense. Google AdSense is a program like Google AdMob. You have to register for Google AdSense. Google will analysis your blog and if you qualify their all criteria then google will approve your request and will show the relevant ads.

Google AdSense

If any user clicks on that ad then you will get paid by Google. The payment will be in USD but it will be transferred to your bank account in Indian Rupees or you can ask Google to pay you via Cheque.

I am sharing a video link here regarding the blogging as a earning source.

So, friends, I think this is enough for today. Hope you have got some knowledge about online alternate earning. See you in part-2.
