Going to McDonald's is a status symbol for some of us because McDonald's is not only famous for tasty food but also for their discipline, their management and for their cleanliness.

McDonald's have more than 35,000 outlets in more than 120 countries across the world. They not only make more than $2 Billion profit every year but also having more than 375,000 employees across the world.
But the real question is... how is this all started?
The McDonald's was started by Richard and Maurice Mcdonald. Born in 1910 in New Hampshire. When their father lost his job in 1929 due to financial crisis, they both went to Hollywood to try their luck in movies.
But how unfortunate they were (and lucky we are), that they never get a chance to get on real screen and worked as spot boy only.
After losing hopes in Hollywood, they went to California and founded a Hot Dog stall. They both were good cook and maintained the hygiene very strongly (and that is why all the McDonald's are so much clean and neat).
As the time passed, their hot dog became famous across the California.
At the end, they started their first McDonald's Outlet in San Bernardino in 1940. They were the first one who started the "Speedee Service System" (now commonly called as "Fast food").

This first outlet become so popular that people used to wait for hours in Que to get their favorite hamburger. Once they reach to the counter, it would take only couple of minutes to get their order ready.
The theory behind it very simple, said McDonalds' brothers that "Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS)". Keep 6-7 food items in menu and follow the cooking procedure as per the guidelines written in the book.
Let me tell you one example, example of french fries. If you want a good and tasty french fries then following are the points considered,
- What kind of potatoes should be used.
- In which weather the potatoes must be kept.
- What care must be taken during their transportation.
- how in in which shape they must be cut.
- How deep the fry should be.
It is nearly impossible to follow all these parameters in our local restaurants, isn't it?
McDonald's brothers followed the "mass production" system in food industry. May be that is why they are know as "Ford of Food Industry". That is why each and every Burger and other food items' taste never changes.
McDonald's started to advertise in 1950 like "We have sold more than 10 million burger". They started to franchise policy for the growth of McDonald'. McDonald's used to check whether the owner was following the McDonald's Policy about food and hygiene or not.
If they found that any franchise was violating the policy then they used to terminate the agreement. Even a single house fly was not allowed in the McDonald's outlet (people used to say this).
This is how the McDonald's founded by two brothers who never got married, who lived together until their last breath, they never run after money but they both wanted everything "perfect". That is the reason why McDonald's spread across the world.
