Nobody knows what is going to happen in next few moments. We must fight to every tough situation like our life depends on it because one day it will.
Nando Parrado is a real life example of this. He not only survived the breath taking situation but also become the role model for the whole world. He survived in bone chilling situation without water and food for 72 days. He was 21 years old at that time.
13th October 1972, Uruguay rugby team was flying for their match with their family via Uruguayan Air Force Flight.
But because of pilot's miscalculation, the flight crashed in the Mount Andes (Which is the longest continental mountain range in the world).

Mount Anades which is the longest continental mountain range in the world |
Out of 45 on board people, 13 died in crash and 32 survived with serious injuries. Nando lost his mother and sister in this crash. But nobody had time to cry over dead, because they had a big question in font of them and that was- they had to survive in the bone chilling condition until the search and rescue operation teams find them.
Nando took initiative. Food and water supply were about to end. All were hoping that the search and rescue team will find them. But after two weeks, they come to know on radio transmission that rescue operation has been stopped.
Everybody disappointed. But they decided not to give up. Nando's friend started to melt the ice using plane's trash aluminum. Nando helping others to control their emotions
Then they realized that they are on their own. They had to find a way out together. They started to sleep together so that they can fight with the cold.
When food stock ended, Nando took a very tough and strange decision. If anyone dies then that one will allow others to eat his dead body. After couple of hours discussion, everyone agreed to this.
This was the strangest decision in the history for the survival.
At last, out of 35, only 4 recovered including Nando so that they can walk down the Mount Andes . They walked down the Andes and showed the tremendous courage to the world.
These 4 members of team are they only survivals of that crash and that is also for 72 days without food and water.
The whole world wanted to know their story. Because Nando did this at the age of 21. He lost almost 40 kg weight. Then also he refused to give up.
After this incidence, Nando wrote the book named 'Miracle in the Andes'. He then was invited all over the world for his infinite courage.
Now Nando is a successful businessman and motivational speaker. Nando not only saved his life but also saved other 14 lives also. He walked down for 10 days with limited food and water supply.
He said, "I would rather die while fighting for life instead of sitting and waiting for death in plane".
It was considered as the toughest self rescue operation in the world history till date completed by 21 years old young boy.
I highly recommend this book so that everyone who thinks that their life is tougher than others. 'Eating your friend's dead body' was the toughest decision anyone could take.
